Classes are self-contained and teachers are responsible for English/Language Arts, Mathematic, Social Studies and Science. Class sizes range from 18-20 students.

Teachers are responsible for preparing and implementing engaging and standards-based lessons. Teachers must be agile and flexible in implementation in order to reach all students all the time. Promise Academy currently utilizes Eureka Math, Core Knowledge Language Arts and Amplify Science for the core curricula.
Teachers work as part of a grade level team to implement character development and socio-emotional initiatives.
Teachers are asked to participate in the life of the school and organize or attend meetings and events that may occur outside of school hours.
